Oliver worked as our architect over a 2-year period. He quickly understood what we were trying to achieve and designed our beautiful “For Ever” home with consummate skill and to the highest standards. His particular challenge was to design a house with exceptional eco credentials around a first floor swimming pool, combining our traditional aesthetic tastes with our passion for innovation in a way that was acceptable in its rural setting within a farming community. This was not an easy brief! Oliver’s plans, accompanied by detailed drawings and illustrative sketches, were accepted without modification by our local Council’s planners. Living as we do in a Conservation Area, within a Flood Plain and with complex Ecology issues, this achievement was no mean feat. Oliver provided illustrative sketches and 3D visuals all along the way to help translate his plans into pictures for me. Oliver worked very hard to complete our plans in time and to budget. We have now lived in our new home for nearly a year; it has proved to be everything we could have wished for. Our home, inside and outside, is admired by all those who see it.
